Save Us All!
Christine Xia
Save Us All! is an edition of prints that satirizes The Royal Family’s perfectly planned and measured public image to highlight the gossip and tabloid news that keeps the family relevant and present in popular culture. While exaggerating the monarchy’s grandeur these “holy” portraits are overlayed with loud and brash text. The background is composed of tabloid articles that gossip and speculate about the family’s lives. This work is a part of Christine's undergraduate capstone project that addresses the issue of disinterring history and speaking about the pain of others.

A New Tradition
Michelle Lu
Contributed by Francis Ho
There is an enduring custom of stigma and shame associated with mental health in the Asian Canadian community. Misinformation and superstition perpetuate a tradition of isolation and silence. Through recontextualizing traditional spiritual practices and objects, this work attempts to create a ritualized performance that normalizes mental health conversations and self-care practices.
